    Industry Experience

  • Rule-Engine for Management Automation in Data-Centers (Summer Internship at Runaware, 2010)

    The goal of the project was to design a Monitoring System which can automate the process of management on servers (identifying a problem or event like RAM usage beyond certain level, server down, etc based on the rules defined and if possible, solving it automatically) of servers in any data center. We designed and implemented a basic prototype for this project.
    • Projects

  • Code Search Engine ( Ongoing B.Tech Project)
    The goal of the project is to develop a search engine within an enterprise (from Nutch, an open source search engine) which can look for the code snippets stored in large data repository. Code can be uploaded either by submitting a file or an url (which will be crawled first) which will be preprocessed, indexed and become search-able. Code snippets can be of any programming or scripting language(c, c++ and Java is targeted for now).

  • Transforming Engine using Hadoop
    This is a Scalable transformation engine using Hadoop. An application that scale XSL transformations to the highest. Given an XML, it will apply XSL and create a format desired. The output could be XML,PDF and/or HTML.The idea is to use the cluster infrastructure and scale the level of transformation engine. We modified Hadoop so that one Map Task will do only one transformation.

  • A Case Study Authoring Tool
    Project is web based and aims to provide a tool for authors to create their case studies in a methodological way. Mainly the end users who would be benefitted are the authors of the case studies and the teachers who wish to use case study based approach for his/her course.

  • Secured 152 Rank in MP-PET(Madhya Pradesh Pre-Engineering Test). This exam is taken by all students in Madhya Pradesh for admission into Engineering stream.
