- Machine Learning [ML].
Natural Language Dependency Parsing
I have done my undergrad research in Natural Language Dependency Parsing and explored various Deteministic and Incremental approach for dependency parsing
I have worked on MALT Parser(Nivre) and MST Parser(Ryan Mc Donald). Our main focus was to achieve high accuracy for dependency parsing on Hindi Language.
Research on the topic as well on other languages including several Indian Language is in progress at Language Technologies Research Center (LTRC), IIIT Hyderabad.
Intelligent GUI
I have also worked on how to make the GUI of various application more intelligent with the use of NLP. The aim was to reduce the complexity of those GUI and substitute with a natural language query. The Idea is to simply execute the command with just writing what you want in Natural Language say "Double the coulmn width" for Excel Sheet and its done. We developed a framework and tested it on KSpread (KDE Spreadsheet). Dialogue Systems is developed for Incomplete or Ambiguous Query Management. The work can be integrated with Machine Translation and Speech Systems to make it more handy and language independent.
Today's AI is about new ways of connecting people to computers, people to knowledge, people to the physical world, and people to people.
