Location Based Search Engine For Mobile Devices (LBS)

Abstract:                                  This project is to give search results for a given query based on user’s mobile location. The user's location is retrieved automatically from the user's mobile device.Using the location we do a refining and re-ranking of the meta-search results based on the query expansion algorithms.

Personalized Search Engine for Mobile Devices (PSearch)

Abstract:                                  This project is to give search results for a given query based on user’s interests. These user interests are taken implicitly from the behavior of the user and by maintaining user profile. Since we are doing for mobile devices, we are having server based architecture for user profiles. The interface for the whole psearch will be in wap/wml and also for desktop users.

Editing in Database of Casio PV PDA

Abstract:                                Providing editing, deleting and updating facilities for the database of Casio PV PDA.This also provides search in the database based on the primary key and the sub keys in the database. Indexing is done so as to provide editing in the database which is a .tdx file. Casio PV's memory is very small (based on the version), so its memory should be taken into consideration while indexing and searching.

Web Crawler for Sports

Database Management System for National Games

Abstract:                                  We have designed a database for National Games. A GUI

Electricity Billing Software

Abstract:                          Electricity Billing Software is used to automatically bill the customer based on the current tariff rates and the units consumed by the customer. Its features include graphs which can be used as a statistical measure of the units consumed by different types of customers. Options to automatically edit the tariff rates, add/delete customers are also provided.
