Drizzle is a community-driven project based on the popular MySQL DBMS that is focused on MySQL’s original goals of ease-of-use, reliability and performance. It aims to be a microkernel DBMS for high performance scale-out applications.

Boots is an extensible command line database client for Drizzle and MySQL. It was the focus of development in this project. A set of new features was created for boots through this project.
